Our process
Every photo lab is unique, with differences in printing equipment, paper, inks and colour profiles. That’s why correctly calibrating your monitor before submitting orders is essential for achieving accurate, consistent colour and the best possible print quality.
Before you submit orders
CALIBRATION
Monitor calibration is the first and most important step to do and get right. This ensures your prints match your expectations
ORDER PRINT TEST
Once your have calibrated your monitor according to our instructions, order your free text examples.
OUTCOME
Review your samples and check if the calibration has been successful. If you are having challenges with your calibration, please don't hesitate to contact us so we can help you achieve the best possible print outcome from your images.

By sharing our journey toward achieving 100% carbon offset through ecosystem restoration, we aim to inspire companies worldwide to take meaningful climate action—creating a ripple effect that benefits both the planet and the prosperity of high volume photography businesses.
Why did we decide to pursue a meaningful 100% carbon offset target?- Well, there are two reasons:
1. As the proverb goes - ‘’We do not inherit the Earth from our ancestors; we borrow it from our children’’ - We feel a deep responsibility to take meaningful action against climate change, ensuring we leave a healthier, more sustainable planet for future generations.
2. Provide our high volume photography software and print partners with an additional competitive advantage with messaging such as: ''Congrats! your complete order is 100% carbon offset''

With guidance from our carbon offset partner ' Greenfleet', we approached our journey to 100% carbon offsetting in three ways
Reduce
-
using efficient photo printing machinery that uses 75 percent less energy than traditional printers
-
limiting paper wastage with controlled media sizes (minimal cutting required)
-
using recyclable ink cartridges that do not create chemical waste (unlike traditional silver halide printing)

using renewable energy

using packaging materials (envelopes, cards and boxes) made from recycled paper and sourcing them from responsible operators.

Some of our suppliers still use plastic in their packaging and we aim to reuse & recycle these packaging materials where possible to reduce waste.
Offsetting
After meeting with various carbon offsetting industry representatives, we quickly realised that not all offset programs deliver the same impact.
Following in-depth research, we chose to partner with ‘Greenfleet’—and here’s why:
Greenfleet takes a distinct approach to carbon offsetting, rejecting the carbon credit model where companies purchase credits from already completed projects. In this common model, a completed project is audited, generating tradable credits based on the carbon offset. However, the quality and real-world impact of these credits can vary widely. For instance, many credits are based on ‘avoided’ carbon, such as preventing deforestation, which relies on estimating emissions saved by preserving existing forests.
Instead, Greenfleet channels all contributions into active reforestation projects, planting native trees that absorb carbon as they grow. This hands-on approach restores ecosystems, enhances biodiversity, and ensures a tangible environmental benefit.
As a leading not-for-profit environmental organization, Greenfleet is deeply committed to climate protection through forest restoration. Since 1997, they have planted over 10 million native trees across 500 forests in Australia and New Zealand. As Greenfleet’s forests grow, they absorb carbon, improve soil and water quality, and provide critical habitat for native wildlife, including many endangered species.
Through our partnership with Greenfleet, we are confident that our climate action will deliver genuine and lasting environmental benefits. We’re excited about the impact we’re poised to make as we offset 100% of our emissions with Greenfleet. This collaboration enables us to take meaningful steps against climate change, supporting the restoration of Australia’s forests, the regeneration of vital habitats for native wildlife, and the transformation of degraded land back to its natural state.
